In situ geotechnical tests

In situ geotechnical tests complete the picture of investigations by providing data directly on the ground in natural conditions. We perform plate load tests (PLT) for verifying the bearing capacity of road subgrades, membrane and sand densimeter tests for compaction control, in-hole permeability tests (Lefranc and Lugeon), installation and reading of piezometers for groundwater monitoring, and pressuremeter tests. In situ tests are essential for validating the parameters obtained in the laboratory and for quality control during works.
