JOY 3P: the new drilling rig for versatile, high-performance drilling

Now available in our equipment fleet is the JOY 3P, a drilling rig designed to operate with precision and reliability on any type of soil. Robust, configurable and high-performance, it represents a strategic asset for geotechnical, environmental and infrastructure works.

Technical features and operational benefits

The JOY 3P is equipped with a 125 kW diesel engine, powering both the tracked drive and the hydraulic system through a triple pump. This power makes it possible to handle deep drilling and high-resistance soils without compromising efficiency.

The structure is built in welded and painted tubular steel, with anti-rust treatment, ensuring strength and durability even in challenging environments.

The drilling tower, orientable and translatable on multiple axes, is equipped with:

– improving the quality of environmental and geotechnical coring;

– increasing the percentage of soil recovered in each manoeuvre;

– carrying out deeper coring with the same drilling rig;

– reducing coring times with consequent cost optimisation.

Mobility and stability

Thanks to its rubber/steel tracks (width 2,000 mm, length 2,455 mm), the JOY 3P can tackle uneven, muddy or sloped terrain at a maximum speed of 3 km/h. The 4 stabilisers guarantee a solid base during operations, improving precision and safety during drilling.
