Geognostic investigations campaign for Snam S.p.A.

Geotechnical characterisation along a route several kilometres long in a plain area with saturated soils and the presence of low-consistency clayey layers, critical for excavation stability.

Continuous-core boreholes and penetration tests distributed along the route, with laboratory analyses to define excavation parameters and groundwater conditions.

Campaign of geognostic investigations for Snam S.p.A. along the route of a new methane pipeline, carried out in cooperation with Leardi Srl. The investigations defined the subsurface conditions for the pipeline design.
